FormFitting expands to serve more women!

In 2006 Wings launched a new program called FormFitting. This program was created to provide breast prostheses, mastectomy bras and wigs to breast cancer patients who are in need of assistance. Dealing with cancer can be devastating in many ways, and certainly the financial impact can be overwhelming. The FormFitting program assists patients who are in financial need with co-pays and deductibles for these essential products. If the patient has no insurance coverage, the program will cover the entire purchase amount.

We understand that the quality of life for cancer patients is impacted by their sense of self. We want to help them maintain a positive self-image by ensuring that any woman who needs breast prosthesis, mastectomy bras or a wig can receive these, regardless of their ability to pay.

To date the program has served 102 women in the greater Memphis area, including North Mississippi, for breast prostheses and mastectomy bras, and many more who have received wigs. Because this program has been so successful and so many women have been served that would not be otherwise, we will be expanding the program further into the West Tennessee area. Cancer Care Center in Jackson, TN will partner with Wings for the administration of this program to that area.
